What is CFT? CFT is based on Dr. Barry Gillespie's findings that the Craniosacral and Fascial systems are not separate but one interconnected system. CFT blends two established modalities: Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release into a single, highly effective therapy. CFT is a gentle hands-on technique guided by the individual to address fascial strains in the body using craniosacral therapy and myofascial release therapy. With this method, the body unwinds where needed, freeing tissue and improving many conditions & trauma releases in the body. You remain fully clothed for sessions. CFT is safe for infants beginning at 15 days old.
What can CFT help with? For adults and children, CFT can help with headaches, migraines, concussion, TMJ, back/neck/hip pain, digestive issues, sinus congestions, anxiety, depression, sleep issues, airway issues, poor range of motion, whiplash, scars and nervous system regulation.
CFT for infants can help with birth trauma, positional strains in Utero, breastfeeding issues, swallowing issues, failure to thrive, Colic, reflux, gas, constipation, poor sleep, stiffness, torticollis, tethered oral ties, stridor, strabismus, pyloric stenosis, cranial distortion, Cranial nerve dysfunction, regulating nervous system and more. CFT is often recommended pre and post frenectomy to support best outcomes for your infant.

Parent participation is necessary for infants & children. Both parents are welcome! Your feedback is an important aspect of CFT. Please plan session accordingly for best time of day for your child. Please be mindful to not schedule during feeding or fussy times if possible.
Some questions will be answered during session time. If you have multiple questions, please schedule a consultation or longer session so that you get the most out of the session.
Repeat sessions are often necessary especially for infants. Most require about 4 sessions for issues treating/symptoms to be improved. 30 min sessions are only recommended for follow up and for those with minimal concerns, not for 1st session.
