Waitlist/After hours requests: Later evening appointments are booked by request only and are subject to availability. Frequent requests to change after hours appointments are unable to be accommodated. If you cancel an after hours appointment, future after hours appointments will not be accommodated. Please understand this disrupts business operations as special arrangements have been made in advance for your appointment. If you have an urgent matter or after-hours request, please join my waitlist and let us know of your need. We often receive multiple requests & make every effort to honor as many after hour requests as possible. When joining waitlist please make sure to reply "YES" to enable waitlist notifications. If you do not reply "YES" in your notifications you will not be notified. This is a software requirement that we cannot override.
Service Agreement: Please review/sign policy information on service agreement you will receive when booking. All forms must be completed prior to your appointment. Private events booked will not be held unless all forms are signed no less that 24 hrs prior to your appointment.
Results are not guaranteed however therapist is highly skilled and will always ensure your session is targeted to your needs. Some guests may require longer session time, multiple/regular sessions or lifestyle changes at home to achieve best results. Sessions do start on time! This allows me to honor the time you booked and offer a smooth experience for everyone. Please understand calendar is typically fully booked well in advance and includes break/clean up time for the day. Due to this, last min changes or late start extensions may not be able to be accommodated. Please plan to arrive 5-10 min early for parking, to get settled in prior to your session in order to receive the most out of our time together.
Newborns are welcome during your appointment. Please plan accordingly to avoid disruption of your session or provide someone to care for your child while in session. Please allow extra time for travel, parking. Please familiarize yourself with location and confirmation email which includes location details. Please plan to arrive a few min early to use restroom, check in on your needs and get settled. Please do your best to allow a little extra time for this sacred time for you. Business is not responsible for any errors you may have made at time of booking such as arriving at incorrect date/time or booking wrong session. Please review your booking & confirmation to make sure everything was correctly booked and that you have noted correctly in your calendar.
Multiple positioning changes or use of bathroom during your session may disrupt your session time and session extension may not be able to accommodated unless schedule allows. Must request all session enhancements prior to session. Complimentary session enhancements do not extend your session. Adding additional time to your session must be scheduled in advance as schedule is typically full for the day. Complimentary session enhancements are provided to a targeted area and not for multiple areas unless you have extended your session. For massage sessions please arrive with cleansed skin free from sunburn, peeling skin or spray tan, Spray tan may be affected by oil and massage friction,
Health & Safety Your safety is our highest priority. Please review all health related information listed for session booked. We ask that you reschedule if experiencing active infections, fever or conditions that are a contraindication for your session. Please consult with your physician for any concerns related to massage therapy. Guests with high BMI may require alternate positioning or bolstering for your comfort. Guests with high BMI may have limited access to musculature or have more sensitivity due to level of adipose tissue. To ensure a safe experience, guest over 350 lbs may not able to be accommodated or lighter pressure may be applied due massage table safety guidelines which includes dynamic working pressure applied during massage therapy.
Guests are responsible to communicate all health issues that may prohibit massage therapy in advance. If your condition requires physician consent for your session, a written physician approval is required no less than 24 hrs prior to your appointment. If it is determined at time of appointment that your health prohibits session booked, your session will be modified and or cancelled, Guests are responsible for full payment of session booked so we asked that you communicate your needs in advance to avoid being charged.
When children are visiting studio, parents must be present and are responsible for the care of their children. For safety, children must not run in studio, play with massage equipment or touch items in studio. Therapeutic toys offered during pediatric sessions must not be misused to avoid breakage and shall remain in studio. PAYMENTS//GIFT CARDS/REFUNDS: 50% deposit is required to book appointments. Pricing does not include gratuity. You may choose to add at checkout if you would like. Pricing varies and subject to change. Pricing can be found by clicking reserve appointment on home page. If you are paying with a gift card/certificate you must enter n your gift card/certificate number when booking. Gift card balance must include entire amount of session booked in order to use for online booking. Refunds are provided for deposits as long as you cancel no less that 24 hrs prior to your appointment. No refunds are given for any services rendered, bundles, packages, gift cards or candles purchased. Gift cards/certificates will be redeemed for cancellations outside of policy or no shows. Please allow Square to refund your deposit 2-3 business days. Session fees do not include gratuity. If you would like to leave gratuity you may do so at check out. Credit card on file is required to book appointments. Your credit card will not be charged unless you are outside of cancellation policy or no show. HSA, FSA, gift cards, cash & credit cards accepted. No cash is kept in studio so please provide exact cash amount. If using gift card, discount or prepaid credit balance please mention at checkout. Gift card must be present at time of service for redemption. If gifting a session, please book appointment under guest receiving services and leave note as to your gifting/payment request as well as any gratuity you wish to include. We recommend purchasing a gift certificate when gifting a session. Older gift cards may require additional administrative action so please reach out to handle your in advance.
Credit card or gift certificate must be present at time of session. If you do not have gift certificate available at time of appointment, you will be responsible to pay for the session booked. Gift certificates purchased prior to 9/2023 must be redeemed 24 hrs prior to your session so please reach out to process your transaction. We do not charge card on file unless you did not provide 24 hr notice to cancel. We are charged additional fees by merchant credit card processing company to charge card on file so we try to not use this type of transaction processing as it becomes very costly. Apple pay available, cash accepted if change is not required. Zelle & Venmo also available. If you are gifting a session, payment must be provided at time of service. If you have requested to charge credit card on file, please specify if you would like to add gratuity. If credit card on file does not cover cost of session, person receiving the services will be responsible for payment. You may also purchase a gift certificate for your gifting needs. Unpaid balances will result business canceling all appointments until balance paid. Future appointments may not be accepted for continued unpaid balance occurrences.
CANCELLATIONS: 24 hr notice is required in order to avoid being charged for your session booked. This applies to deposits, gifted sessions, packages, bundles, discounted sessions & complimentary appointments. Cancellation fee waived when booking labor stimulation massage due to the onset of labor provided you contact us. If we do not hear from you, please understand you will be charged after 15 min from your appointment time.
Multiple requests to cancel & reschedule appointments can disrupt the daily flow of business and our ability to serve our guests so please try to limit the frequency of cancellations. If you need to frequently cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you book at time when your schedule is more stable. If you request to cancel or shorten your appointment during your session you will still be responsible for payment of original session booked. Frequent no show or lack of adherence to cancellation policy will result in business not accepting future appointments. HSA & FSA ACCOUNTS: HSA/FSA payment cards are accepted for in studio checkout or through invoicing for home visits. To book online you may need to use a different credit card however this credit card will not be charged unless you are a no show or did not provide 24 notice to cancel. Business not responsible for payments processed through HSA/FSA. Please contact your account provider for information on processing payments through your account.
INSURANCE & Superbill GUIDELINES: We do not accept insurance however we can provide a superbill. In order to complete a superbill you must provide the CPT procedure codes & ICD codes for diagnostic coding from your physician prior to your appointment. Please review your insurance guidelines and policies before booking your appointment. Body and Soul by Jojo is not responsible for insurance billing or legal matters related to your services you may be billing your insurance company for reimbursement. As a courtesy we have listed the information typically required by insurance company for reimbursement such as certification and license information on your receipt & provide superbill. If you make multiple request to change superbill or resend there will be a $25 charge for each request. Private Events & Classes: Private event appointments will not be held for more than 24 hrs without confirmation & deposit. Appointment may be cancelled due to non-payment of deposit. Future sessions will not be scheduled if you have remaining unpaid balances. Deposits are non-refundable however will be applied to future appointment when rescheduling no less than 24 hrs in advance. Payment required in advance to hold your spot for events and classes unless complimentary. To ensure a smooth private event please make sure you have nearby unrestricted parking available, adequate comfortable space for massage table , ventilation & comfortable temperature in space is a must. Nearby outlet is necessary in space if you would like a heated table or heated stone for your session. Locations with multiple stairs will not be accommodated due to heavy equipment. Please make sure your event has been booked correctly including accurate address, parking instructions and any other information that may be necessary for your event. Failure to provide accurate information that may prevent our access to your location, may result in your event being cancelled without refund. If session time is delayed due to unplanned entry issues, parking issues or delays presented upon arrival, your event will not be extended unless schedule allows. Please provide all location details in advance so we can plan accordingly. Parking: Business is not responsible for any parking issues, parking tickets, theft, damage to your vehicle, stolen vehicle or delay caused by waiting for free parking space. We recommend arriving early for free parking spot as those are limited and taken first.
Promotional events & Models: All those participating in promotional event or as a model must complete waiver prior to session. Participation requires use of video or photography for promotional or educational opportunities including social media. Discount offered or those who wish to participate in promotional/educational sessions. Promotional/educational model sessions are offered to existing clients only.
*No refunds are given for services rendered, gift certificates, series, bundles or membership purchases. Bundles must be used within 6 months of purchase. No refunds on deposit if canceling outside of cancellation policy or are no show with the exception of those booked for labor stimulation massage due to the onset of labor provided you do reach out to us. *Pricing subject to change.
