How does lymphatic drainage work?
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, rhythmic technique focused on the direction of your lymph system & lymph nodes/ducts. It allows your lymphatic system to be cleansed & moved like a stream of water. Lymphatic drainage is NOT a muscular massage and solely focuses on pathway of lymphatic system. This modality supports inflammatory disorders, lymphatic conditions, surgical recovery, lactation needs, mastectomy recovery, Body masculinity surgical recovery, other surgical recovery and supports overall health. Puffiness & water retention are reduced, detoxifying the body, increases circulation and strengthens the immune system.
Lymphatic drainage is also a necessary part of surgical recovery and lymphedema prevention for cancer treatment & lymphedema management. Treating lymph flow is a preventative for infection as well as supportive of your recovery. Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage may include 4-5 position changes and can be modified for pregnancy.

For pediatric sessions it is recommended to wear shorts & tank top or bathing suit (bikini) for comfort as this is a clothing off modality.
Multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve desired results. With more chronic or severe edema, cellulite reduction, lymphedema or post-surgery recovery, weekly sessions & home self-care are often necessary for best results. This is not intended for weight loss however does support a healthy lifestyle, diet & exercise. Lymphatic drainage is not a muscular massage so does not treat muscular issues.
60 min sessions do not include face drainage for Brazilian technique.

Not recommended for severe acne or if you have an active infection. If you have dermal fillers, please schedule face drainage at least 2 weeks after your aesthetic procedure. If you have had Botox, please allow 24 hours from injection to schedule your session.
